Google-MediaTek Partnership To Bring Budget-Friendly Nexus Smartphones Soon
As it is, Google has been making other smartphone manufacturers follow its lead in terms of price-performance ratio, and now reports online suggests that the search-engine giant is also planning to come up with even more affordable handsets, not likely in the Nexus series. Instead it could be somewhat like Moto G.

The news come from a Chinese online publication that writes "everything-MediaTek". According to the source's "trusted insiders from Taiwan supply chains", Google has now teamed up with the chip maker "MediaTek" in order to build a very low priced smartphone.
The handset would supposedly hit the shelves at prices as low as $100 (approx. Rs. 6,025). If this is the case, the upcoming handset from Google might turn the market upside-down. Specially if the handsets enter the Indian market, domestic low-end smartphone makers will have a tough time.
Apart from these, Google is also currently working on the Nexus 8 tablet and a Nexus 6 handset. The Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 have already been the super-hit handsets which rocked the entire high-end smartphone markets world-wide. Now if the lower end version of the same Nexus devices happen to come with the MediaTek chipsets on it, it is likely to rule the entire market in a wholesome manner.
