Google Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 Now Available in India Play Store

Today Google has finally made its Asus made Nexus 7 tablet and LG made Nexus 5 available in India Play Store. Just yesterday the Nexus 5 was reportedly told to be available in LG India Stores.

The 2013 edition Nexus 7 comes in 16 GB WiFi only variant. While the 32 GB Nexus 7 comes in two flavors, one being WiFi only and another LTE Unlocked (GSM networks).

Talking about price, the 16 GB WiFi variant costs Rs. 20,999; 32GB WiFi costs Rs. 23,999 and the 32GB LTE Unlocked variant can be bought at Rs. 27,999. The company has also listed the tablet cover in three different sharp colors worth Rs. 1,999 under coming soon tag.

Moving on to the LG made Nexus 5, there are two variants of the device that is currently available in the Play Store, one with the 16GB internal storage capacity and the other one with a 32 GB. The 16 GB would cost you Rs. 28,999 as Google had promised earlier, and the 32GB would come at the price of Rs. 32,999.

The Play Store says that the devices will be delivered with 2 to 7 days.

Nexus 5

The Nexus 5 comes with a 4.95-inch FHD display with pixel density of 445ppi along with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Powering the handset is a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked to 2.3 GHz, Adreno 330 GPU tuned to 450MHz and a 2GB RAM. Most interesting part of the device is that it runs on the latest iteration Android 4.4 KitKat.

Moving on to the imaging technology, it features an amazing 8 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization feature hardly found in 8MP camera. The phone is also loaded with 1.3 megapixel front facing shooter.

Connectivity options include Dual-band WiFi (24G/5G), 3G/4G LTE and NFC (Android Beam), Wireless charging and houses a 16GB of internal storage capacity. The device that measures 69.17x137.84x8.59 mm and weighs 130 grams draws its energy from a 2300mAh battery. The company claims that the battery will offer up to 17 hours of talktime and Standby time of up to 300 hours.

Nexus 7 (2013)

On the other hand the Nexus 7 tablet comes with a 7.02 inch HD display with a pixel density of 323 ppi along with a scratch-resistant corning glass. The device comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP front facing shooter as well.

Talking about the power, it runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 operating system and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked to 1.5GHz. The new tablet also features Adreno 320 graphics and is also supported by 2GB RAM.

Connectivity features depend as said earlier, however, in general it comes with Bluetooth, NFC, Wireless charging, GPS, GLONASS, MicroUSB and also HDMI output. The Nexus 7 2 is powered by a 3,950mAh battery.
