When you hear the brand name Gresso the first thing that comes into your mind might be a whole lot of cash. Of course that should be because until and unless you have some extra cash to burn forget about buying a Gresso device. Over the years the company has released some ultra expensive gadgets including mobile phones that have more style than substance.
Gresso has very recently announced their newest addition to the Grand Monaco series, the pure Black phone. As the name indicates the phone has an overall black colour scheme. If you are into black then the device will have many things to offer you. The main thing that Gresso concentrates on is in the build quality and the materials used for building. This phone also carries on that legacy and comes with durable titanium alloy casing which is covered in ceramic layers.
Obviously the phone looks very beautiful. One look at the device and you can know that it belongs to the super premium range of devices. The sides and top portion of the phone is straight but there is some tapering at the bottom that gives it a curved look. The design at first sight might seem simple but once you take a close look you can see the minute and intricate design elements used.
This surely gives the mobile the status of a piece of art and it is well enough to be kept as a showpiece in a museum. The number pad has buttons that are a bit small but since the device concentrates on style and appearance there is no point in referring to it. The rear panel of the phone features subtle patterns and this increases the overall visual appeal of the phone.
The body of the device is handmade. The number pad which has a jet black colour scheme is made from surgical steel and the keys are kept on a layer of black toned glass. The screen is protected by a sapphire glass of 42 carat and it is polished using a diamond tool by hand. The notable thing is that the handset weighs only 120 grams even with all this features. The phone is available in two variants, you can choose from either Cayman with crocodile leather covering or Italian carbon leather. In the feature part don’t expect anything more than what you can find in the most basic of feature phones.
Finally, the price tag of the device, the price of the handset is not yet revealed but is expected on the higher end.
