Motorola launches 32GB Moto X (2nd Gen) for Rs 32,999: 10 Rivals

Motorola today announced updated Moto X with a large display and featured beefed specs. Being a rival to the Samsung Galaxy S5, the new phone seems to be a big-ticket device with better designed internals. The handset is overall improved over its predecessor.

The spec sheet of the new Moto X doesn't disappoint either. It comes with a 5.2-inch FHD display with 23ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood is a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. Unfortunately, the phone doesn't support an external memory option.

Not just the specs are improved, but the camera is fairly better and offers great images. The device has a 13MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED ring flash, and 4K video capture. Also, add a 2MP front-facing camera.

The new Moto X runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with a few software additions. It also includes better voice command feature.

Motorola's Moto X is a worthy successor to the original Moto X. More than improved specs on offer, the new smartphone is all about style and upmarket appearance. The device is expected to go on sale in India sometime later this month. The phone will certainly face tough competition from the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 5S, among others.
