Now according to a multiple reports, HTC could announce Butterfly S and a mid-end Android handset - Desire 600 in Taiwan on June 19. Last week, JP Morgan (via Focus Taiwan) claimed that HTC has plans to announce Butterfly sequel. There is a possibility to see "One Mini "and an enhanced version of Butterfly to be launched in Q3. Industry insiders believe that these two devices could prove to be a success for the struggling giant.
The HTC One which was announced earlier this year turn out to be a goldmine for Taiwan based handset makers. GSM Arena reported that 1.2 million HTC One units were sold in May. In India, HTC announced the one back in April, but recently retail stores across India seen carrying this high-end device. The HTC One is facing tough competition from the likes of iPhone 5, Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z.
The forthcoming HTC Butterfly S, a sequel to mega popular Butterfly, could be announced on June 19 in Taiwan. It is said that apart from few minor cosmetic changes, the HTC Butterfly S will largely look same. Instead of 8MP of rear facing camera, the makers will add UltraPixel camera for superior images. The Sense 5.1 is also expected to arrive on this very device. The display size should be 5-inch FHD display with Full HD resolution, and a large sized battery fitted inside.
