HTC Butterfly was a crazy handset back in 2012. For the first time ever a smartphone was announced with Full HD display. The Taiwanese giant never disclosed actual sales of the device nor gave an insight about its planned sequel.

Now according to a multiple reports, HTC could announce Butterfly S and a mid-end Android handset - Desire 600 in Taiwan on June 19. Last week, JP Morgan (via Focus Taiwan) claimed that HTC has plans to announce Butterfly sequel. There is a possibility to see "One Mini "and an enhanced version of Butterfly to be launched in Q3. Industry insiders believe that these two devices could prove to be a success for the struggling giant.

The HTC One which was announced earlier this year turn out to be a goldmine for Taiwan based handset makers. GSM Arena reported that 1.2 million HTC One units were sold in May. In India, HTC announced the one back in April, but recently retail stores across India seen carrying this high-end device. The HTC One is facing tough competition from the likes of iPhone 5, Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z.

The forthcoming HTC Butterfly S, a sequel to mega popular Butterfly, could be announced on June 19 in Taiwan. It is said that apart from few minor cosmetic changes, the HTC Butterfly S will largely look same. Instead of 8MP of rear facing camera, the makers will add UltraPixel camera for superior images. The Sense 5.1 is also expected to arrive on this very device. The display size should be 5-inch FHD display with Full HD resolution, and a large sized battery fitted inside.

On the other hand, there's another handset - Desire 600, which seems to be a mid-end. It will pack a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an 8MP of rear facing camera, VGA quality front facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, Dual SIM and a 1,860mAh battery inside.

In the coming months, one could see a mini version of HTC One in the market. It is believed to have a 4.3-inch display with 720p HD resolution, 2GB of RAM, same aluminum chassis, 16GB of internal memory, Ultrapixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean inside.
