HTC Butterfly Online Price Drop: Top 4 Deals Available on 1080p Smartphone
Though several manufacturers have come up with 1080p full HD display incorporated smartphones in 2013, the first vendor who carries the credit of launching such a handset goes to HTC. The Taiwanese tech firm announced a 1080p smartphone dubbed as Butterfly (Droid DNA in USA and J Butterfly in Japan) in December 2012.
In late January, HTC released the handset in India at a whopping price of Rs 45,999 making it a premium priced smartphone. Further, the Butterfly with its amazing specifications declared a quad core war with the existing quad core smartphones and phablets and also with the other expensive handsets in the nation.
Specwise, Butterfly flaunts a 5 inch LCD 3 capacitive touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS topped with HTC Sense 4 UI, 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, 2.1MP front camera for video calling, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, HDMI out, Bluetooth, NFC, micro USB and a 2,020 mAh battery.
Furthermore, Butterfly comes with features including Beats Audio integration and ImageSense chip and is also water resistant.
For those consumers who are planning to buy the HTC Butterfly despite of its high price tag, there is some relief now as the online retailers in the country have started selling the handset at discount. Below is a list of four online sites that are currently selling the Butterfly at a lesser price tag. Have a look at them before you choose to buy the handset.
