HTC ChaCha And Vodafone 555 Blue Comparison Head To Head
Today we make a short study of two phones in the market that offer dedicated Facebook buttons. The models are the Facebook Phone from Vodafone christened Vodafone 555 Blue and HTC ChaCha.
Vodafone 555 Blue is designed for just one thing i.e. accessing Facebook. The phone will directly take the users to their Facebook accounts or ask them to create one if they don"t have an account when the phone is switched on. HTC ChaCha on the other hand is a Smartphone that offers much more than just a dedicated Facebook button. Let us take a look at the specs and features of both the phones.
Vodafone Blue offers a small 2.4 inch resistive touch screen based display in addition to the physical QWERTY keypad. HTC ChaCha on the other hand has a 2.6 inch capacitive touch screen interface in addition to the physical QWERTY keypad. Both the phones have a lot of similarity in looks.
ChaCha fares over the Blue in the camera department as it has a powerful 5 mega pixel camera as compared to the 2 mega pixels of the Blue. The HTC model also has a front VGA camera that facilitates video calling and this is missing from the Blue"s specification. Both the phones however come with an LED flash.
On the memory side HTC ChaCha has a good internal memory and offers up to 32 GB of expandable memory compared to the 16GB of Vodafone Blue.
ChaCha is also high on the multimedia specs as compared to Blue and provides support for a large number of multimedia formats including high definition h263 and h264 formats.
ChaCha also offers technologies like 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and many more which Vodafone Blue can only dream of.
The Blue runs on a proprietary Java based OS whereas the ChaCha runs on the Android OS.
Vodafone 555 Blue will be priced very low at around Rs 6000 whereas HTC ChaCha will cost around Rs 15500 but both the phones are a class apart. The HTC model offers more for the extra cash and a final verdict is difficult to say. Nevertheless both are exceptionally good in accessing Facebook.
