HTC Deluxe: Global Version of Droid DNA Leaks, Coming With 5 Inch 1080p Display, Quad Core Processor and More

After sending out invites along with the US carrier – Verizon, HTC unwrapped its 5 inch device – Droid DNA on November 13 at a joint press event in New York City to take over the phablet market.

With the launch of J Butterfly in Japan and Droid DNA in US, the HTC fans in the rest of the countries would be eagerly awaiting the global launch of the device. However, there is some good news for the global audience as a leaked photo has revealed the existence of such a device.

 

According to the photo leaked by @evleaks, the Twitter user who is well known for revealing photos of gadgets before their official launch, the device is highly reminiscent to J Butterfly and Droid DNA and it is called HTC Deluxe (DLX).

Though the specifications of the device is not known, as it is speculated to be the global variant of Droid DNA, analysts assume that Deluxe will have a 5 inch display 1080p HD Super LCD 3 display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and a cracking pixel density of 440 ppi.

Further, Deluxe is believed to have a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, Sense 4+ UI, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth, Beats Audio integration and 2,020 mAh battery.

At this point of time, the release date and regions getting HTC Deluxe remain a mystery, but the Taiwanese tech giant could be targeting the holiday season.
