HTC Desire 516c With 5-inch Display, Dual SIM Support Launched in India At Rs 12,990

Along with the HTC one M8 Eye and Desire Eye, the Taiwanese smartphone maker has also launched a new mid-range device called the Desire 516c.

Targeted to the Asian market, the new Desire 516c is offered with a Dual SIM support and is priced at Rs. 12,990. The HTC Desire 516c would be exclusively available from Snapdeal in India starting today. The latest smartphone can be called as the new variant of the Desire 516 Dual SIM that was launched in the country back in June.

HTC Desire 516c: Key Specifications

The HTC Desire 516c features a 5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD capacitive touch screen display. Powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 Processor, the new HTC smartphone is a mid-range smartphone with 1GB of RAM, and runs on Android OS with Sense UI slapped over it.

In terms of camera, the users will get a 5MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing shotter as well.

Internal storage seats at 4 GB and it is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD. Connectivity options include 3G EVDO Rev.A + 2G EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Moreover, it is a Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) smartphone.

The device which measures 9.7mm thick and weighs 160g draws its energy from a 1950 mAh battery.

The new Desire 516c will likely compete with the latest Moto G 2014 edition and other devices from Chinese smartphone makers as well.
