HTC Desire 816 Hands On and First Look: The Coming of Age Mid-Range Phablet is Here
HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM- Processor, Battery and OS
The handset incorporates a 1.6GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with a 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be later expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. We were not able to expansively test the device for that moment, but it worked perfectly without any major flaws.

The Desire 816 Dual SIM has a 2600mAh battery fitted inside, which the makers claim to topple other handsets in the same price bracket.
What's great about the Desire 816 is that it comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC's native UI running on top of it. The Sense 6.0 is massively improved over its previous versions. The handset includes a new version of BlinkFeed that brings user's personal feeds on one single screen.

HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM- One Last Word
HTC says the Desire 816 will hit Indian market shortly at a price point of Rs. 23,990. The retail price of the Desire 816 is enough to steal thunder from Nokia, which already has the Lumia 1320 in the same price bracket. However, the HTC Desire 816 will face tough competition from its nearest arch rival- the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra.

Both phones have more-or-less similar hardware. So which one among them will rule the market ? We will reserve our final verdict until we've had the chance to fully test both devices as per our standards. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
