HTC Desire 816 Started Receiving Android 5.0 Update
Taiwan based handset manufacturer, HTC has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Desire 816 smartphone users in the Indian market.
This update is now over-the-air (OTA) and will reach the handsets in few days. This update comes 863MB in size and brings changes like ART as default runtime, UI improvements, lock-screen improvements, enhanced notifications, better performance, enhanced privacy features as well as HTC-specific tweaks like updated Recent Apps UI and search in settings.

Reiterating the specs, this device comes packed with 5.5-inch 720p HD display, 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.
Moreover, it flaunts a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS layered with the company's proprietary Sense 5.5 UI.
On the other hand, popular leakster @upleaks has leaked that, HTC is planning to launch entry-level Android tablet in this quarter.
