Taiwan head-quartered handset company, HTC has announced the launch of Desire 826 in the Indian market. HTC Desire 826 was launched in CES 2015 (Consumer Electronic Show) back this year. The smartphone is currently listed on official HTC India website under the coming soon tag.
Flavored with Android Lollipop 5.0, HTC Desire 826, is the beefed up version Desire 820, which was launched last year. According to the retailers, the stocks of Desire 826 will be arriving in 2-3 days in the Indian market.
HTC Desire 826 - Key Specifications
HTC Desire 826 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. This device is powered by an Octa-core (4x1.5GHz and 4x1.0GHz) 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 GPU alongside 2GB of RAM.
This smartphone measures 7.5mm thickness, weighs around 155grams and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box on top of Sense UI. Further, Desire 826 features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens, BSI sensor, and LED flash.
The front snapper will be a 4 UltraPixel shooter. It supports 16GB internal storage which can be expandable via MicroSD card and powered by a 2600mAh battery.
Additionally, this Desire 826 comes with, HTC Boom Sound with Dolby Audio included for quality sound and HTC EYE Experience, a software to optimize your smartphone's camera.
Moreover, on the connectivity side, it supports 4G LTE (dual-4G), WI-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB. The HTC Desire 826 comes in two-tone variant, including White Birch, Blue Lagoon, and Purple Fire.
According to Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Desire 826 will retail with a price tag of Rs 26,200.
