HTC Desire 826 with Octa-Core CPU Now Official
HTC Desire 826, which was announced at CES 2015 Las Vegas, earlier this month, has been unveiled in China yesterday. The Taiwan based handset manufacturer, who is busy, working on its upcoming flagship HTC Hima (One M9), launched this mid-range handset with Octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor.
HTC Desire 826 -Key Specifications
HTC Desire 826 sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The processor is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU, Adreno 405 GPU handles graphics along with 2GB of RAM. On board it supported with 16GB/32GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to128GB capacity via microSD slot.

Desire 826 comes feature a 13MP rear camera on the back, along with 4MP front-facing Ultrapixel shooter which we have seen in HTC One M7 and M8 variant. It is powered by a 2600mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. This is the first device from the Desire line up to have Lollipop updates from shipping itself. This dual SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity.
HTC Desire 826 is expected to be launched on Jan 29th. The 16GB variant will carry a price tag of $368 (approx Rs. 22,632) meanwhile, the 32GB variant is priced at $400 (approx Rs. 24,590).
