First the hardware specs, and its that you want to know first. There are two equally potential cameras on HTC Desire Eye. At the rear side, you will find a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture value and a 28mm lens capable of recording a video at 1080pizels. At the front, the smartphone employs a 13MP snapper with dual LED Flash, an aperture value of f/2.0. It uses a 22mm wide-angle lens as well which is pretty great for a smartphone. But that is just a hardware!

First off, it is quite hard to imagine a phone with a 13MP front facing superior quality camera. And to tell you the truth, it is far better than the rear camera of 80% of the smartphones in the mid-range market. Moreover, one of the popular camera apps from HTC - the Zoe, has also been updated to version 1.0. It is a video editing and sharing app and has now been integrated with the RE Camera, allowing you to shoot, edit, and upload your videos to the cloud in record time.
