HTC Desire Eye: Camera And Video
First the hardware specs, and its that you want to know first. There are two equally potential cameras on HTC Desire Eye. At the rear side, you will find a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture value and a 28mm lens capable of recording a video at 1080pizels. At the front, the smartphone employs a 13MP snapper with dual LED Flash, an aperture value of f/2.0. It uses a 22mm wide-angle lens as well which is pretty great for a smartphone. But that is just a hardware!
First off, it is quite hard to imagine a phone with a 13MP front facing superior quality camera. And to tell you the truth, it is far better than the rear camera of 80% of the smartphones in the mid-range market. Yes, the camera specs offered in the HTC Desire Eye is bit over-loaded, not just in terms of hardware but even in terms of feature, the smartphone comes with utmost capability.
By the way HTC has manicured the camera aspect in the phone, it looks like HTC is hell bent on beating all the competitors at least in the camera front. It is needless to even talk about the selfie experience in the phone with the 13 MP wide angle camera.
Obviously! It is capable of taking far better images than a regular smartphone takes with a rear camera Talking about features, since HTC has also introduced its latest camera feature - the Eye Experience with the phone, the Desire Eye's potential is more augmented.
The Eye experience offers features like Split Capture that lets you combine images and video from the front and rear cameras, Crop-Me-In lets you put yourself in scenes captured with the rear camera and others include Face Tracking, Screen Share, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, and Photo Booth.
Moreover, one of the popular camera apps from HTC - the Zoe, has also been updated to version 1.0. It is a video editing and sharing app and has now been integrated with the RE Camera, allowing you to shoot, edit, and upload your videos to the cloud in record time.
