HTC Desire Eye Launched with Advance Camera Software, One M8 Will Also Get Eye Update
Taiwan based mobile maker HTC has finally taken off the lids and unveiled to the world its latest flaghsip set to take over the market -- the new HTC Desire Eye. The launch took place on Wednesday at an event in New York City and GizBot is here to get all the updates for you.
Basically, the Desire Eye comes with a specially created advanced imaging software and houses 13-megapixel front and rear-facing dual cameras for clicking pictures.

The phone has got a dedicated camera button and you'll also find a built in flash along with gimmicky features including Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Photo Booth, Crop Me In and more. Also, BSI sensor, f/2.2, 22mm lens, Full HD video recording, and dual-LED Flash are other aspects which the company has taken care of.
Further, the new HTC Desire Eye features a sharp 5.2-inch Full HD display and a powerful Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor under the hood, reflecting HTC's latest efforts to keep pace with its arch rivals, including Samsung and Apple.
The phone has also got a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, which further can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot and one can also find a 2,400mAh battery fitted inside.
Adding more to it, HTC Desire Eye is water- and dust-resistant to IP67 specifications and runs Android 4.4 with HTC's Sense layer on top. As per the company press release, the Desire Eye also comes with support for LTE and the super-fast Wi-Fi connectivity.
At the same time, the " HTC Eye Experience", the new imaging software has also been announced for its existing range of smartphones. It is learnt that HTC is planning to push this new the Eye update as a software update to its HTC One M8 sometime in October.
The update will also be available for Indian HTC One M8 owners in a matter of 15 days.Furthermore, " HTC Eye Experience" will roll out on the whole Desire series by early 2015.

HTC One Eye -- Availability
As far as India launch is concerned, the HTC Desire Eye is expected to launch in India this month itself. If going by our sources, it will be launched by next week along with two other HTC phones especially for Indian market.
