After months of rumors and speculations, the HTC One (M8) maker finally launched the Desire Eye in New York City, USA.
The Desire Eye, as the name suggests, has a wide-angle 13.0-megapixel camera with 22mm lens, dual-LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and HDR mode. The phone is being helmed as the best selfie smartphone to buy.
Not just the main camera, the device's back camera has a 13MP resolution , 28mm lens and f2.0. aperture. Spec-wise, the multimedia powerhouse sports a 5.2-inch screen (FHD), Snapdragon 801 series quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 2600 mAh battery.
The company has confirmed that the HTC Desire EYE will be made available via various mobile operators and major retailers across EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa), Asia and the US starting in October.
The HTC Desire Eye will be pitted against the best camera smartphones in the market.Since the device is primirily a camera phone, it is logical to compare it with the so-called selfie camera phone.
