HTC Plans To Launch Cheapest Android Phone, HTC Explorer
The handset which is released by Vodafone here in India will have the added advantage of some friendly service and offers from Vodafone. This might include a free 3G stream or a reduced tariff rates in calls and other services provided by the same networks.
HTC Mobiles are well known for its high performance and reliable customer service centers it has all over the regions. The handsets have not been compromised in any thing in accordance with the decreased price. The phone is said to have a very powerful and active processor technology of a 600 MHz processor. The display for the handsets is made very impressive with a 3.2 inch HVGA display. 384 MB RAM loaded in the HTC Explorer is fast enough to give the user a high speed response to the input instructions and assisted by a 512 MB ROM it couldn't get any more better for a handset priced at such a low price range. The handset will have a camera of 5Mega Pixel which is good enough to give the user an enhanced image capturing experience. The HTC Explorer handsets are running on an Android 2.3 platform and with the improved HTC Sense it's definitely worth the money spend for it.
HTC Officials talking about the launch have already commented that HTC consider Indian markets as one among the major markets on a Global basis. It is expected that the company will officially announce its strategy in India with the launch. The handsets are having their first launch in Indian markets and this alone proves to the fact that how important HTC consider the Indian markets are. Vodafone by combining up with HTC has made a logical move foreseeing the big success in market HTC Explorer android is assumed to achieve and this in turn will promote the networks which already have managed to make it one among the top five telecommunication networks in India. The HTC Explorer handset which will be launched today will be made available after the event in all the leading mobile shops in India.
