HTC One (2014) Hits eBay Ahead of Anticipated Launch

The legitimate successor to the original HTC One has been the subject of discussion for quite some. The device is yet to be launched in the market but somehow we have not been able to confirm the real brand name of the next-generation HTC One.

Until now, many of us believe that the purported handset could be known as the "All New HTC One". However, another leak suggests that HTC may call it as the HTC One Up.

On Wednesday, a listing for a 32GB version of HTC One 2 was posted on eBay. According to the media reports, a Verizon-branded HTC M8 has managed to find its way to eBay. The initial price of Verizon-branded HTC M8 starts at $199( Rs. 12,000) all the way up to $499 (Rs. 30,000) . Currently, the listing has been ended, and the device is no more available for purchase.

What's amusing about the Verizon-branded HTC One 2 is that the manufacturer has decided to go with same flagship name. Though, it is hard to digest but some believe that the listed Verizon-branded HTC M8 retail packaging could be fake. The listing also contains images of the retail packaging, including the complete details around specs for the device.

Well, it is worth nothing when the retail box of the "All New HTC One " sheds light on the rumored specs sheet , which we think match older info.

According the retail box, the HTC M8 will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, microSD card support up to 128GB, Duo Camera with UltraPixel, 5MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, NFC, and GPS, amongst other features. Apparently, the phone will run the latest Android mobile OS with Sense 6.0 UI.

By now, we already know that the HTC One 2 is indeed coming on March 25. Reportedly, the device will hit retail shelves in the first week of April 2014. The handset, known technically as the 'HTC M8', could make or break the Taiwanese giant.
