HTC One and Mini Vivid Blue Color Variant Unveiled, Coming in Q4

Riding on the success of its HTC One flagship, the Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer has launched the handset in a new color. Don't expect anything new in terms of hardware as these happen to be a simple refresh of an the original HTC One and One Mini in Azure Blue outfits. Apart form this, HTC has one more variant of the flagship handset that comes in Glamor Red.

Moreover, if one recapitulates the current trend running in the market, launching devices in multiple color variants is becoming rather common. In fact, it all started out with Nokia Lumia, with each device from the range launching with wide range of colored cases.

Talking about the availability of the new Blue HTC One and One Mini, there are no official details, but speculation hints at the device's availability during Q4 2013 in select markets.

Here is a brief rundown on the specs of the HTC One and its Mini variant:

HTC One

The most popular HTC handset sports a 4.7 inch Super LCD 3 capacitive touchscreen display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7GHz quad core Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The HTC one also sports a 4MP UltraPixel rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2.1MP front camera for video calling. The handset houses 2GB RAM and comes with a 32GB internal storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 4G, high speed HSPA+, micro USB and it is eventually powered by a 2,300 mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 43,490. HTC One comes with multiple features like HTC Blink Feed: Live Home Screen, 360° View: Perfect from Every Angle, NFC Support, Dual Frontal Stereo Speakers with Powerful Amplifiers, Full Metal Body with Zero Gaps, HTC Zoe: Photos with a Beginning; Middle and End and few more.

HTC One Mini

HTC One mini comes packed with a slightly smaller screen measuring 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixel with the pixel density of 341 ppi. It also boasts the new HTC Sense UI along with the HTC BlinkFeed homescreen. Inside HTC One Mini, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.4GHz dual-core Krait 300 CPU, Adreno 305 graphics and is also supported by 1GB RAM. The internal memory is 16GB and sadly, there isn't a microSD card slot for expanding it. The HTC One mini runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC's Sense 5 UI layered on top. HTC One mini sports a 4MP UltraPixel rear camera similar to that of its bigger sibling HTC One. The only difference between them is the lack of optical image stabilization on the mini variant but the mini One still comes with HTC's ImageChip 2 and a BSI sensor of 1/3" size. The front-facing camera is 1.6MP and sports a BSI sensor that can shoot 720p videos. Connectivity options on the HTC One mini include LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, Wi-FI a/b/g/n with DLNA and GPS + GLONASS. Obviously, Beats Audio is on board. Talking about the dimension the smartphone measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.25 and weighs 122 grams. The Mini is powered by a 1,800mAh Li-polymer battery and according to HTC the battery will offer 13.2 hours of 3G talk time and 692 hours of 3G stand-by.

Although, these two devices might be making late arrival in the market, HTC will soon unveil its another One variant, HTC One Max in the interim moment in September itself.
