The handset was launched last week at an event held in New York. The device is a bit different from other leading the smartphones. The company is getting aggressive with 'Ultra pixel 'thing. HTC One vs. iPhone 5 - Camera Test

The HTC one comes with an 'Ultra pixel' camera. It is not an ordinary camera phone you generally see in smartphones. Tech site CNET Asia in their lab test compared the HTC One camera against iPhone 5.

Let's see the results.

Well, the site managed to get a clear view about HTC One by testing its camera against the iPhone 5. In the tests, it was found that the HTC One produced better natural colors than Apple iPhone 5. When it comes to Apple iPhone 5, colors were more saturated and sharply focused. When it comes to images shot in the low light- HTC One performed way better. The noise level was less when compared to shots taken from the iPhone 5.

However, both devices performed utterly same, when tested in outdoor light. One can sense pixilation in the image taken by the HTC One. Shots were also taken to test macro mode. Again, the HTC One has an upper hand in comparison to Apple iPhone 5. One can find a big difference between comparing the two images shot in the portrait mode. The details were lacking in the image shot by the HTC One.

HTC made it clear their new device is exceptionally brilliant in taking pictures. The above mentioned test presents a larger picture. HTC One's 4.3-mega pixel camera is not great, just an average puller. Apple iPhone 5 works like a charm - better at showing more colors and sharper images.
