HTC has somewhat set the ground running with its re-entry into the the Indian market. However, that progress has been in the premium category for the time being with the introduction of the previously released One (M8) handset. Nonetheless, the future isn't really far away.
After the final release of the One (M8) handset, a number of fans told us how they were dissapointed with the look of the new handset. The reason being quite simple. The One (M8) looked like the One M7 released before it.
However, with the year still awaiting many more new surprises, it seems like the next iteration of the HTC One series has already arrived. Dubbed the HTC One M9, a host of concept images have been revealed for the rumored handset already.
The new concepts have been brought to life by Hasan Kaymak and Rishi Ramesh. In fact, the images seem to propose an HTC device that will come without BoomSound speakers. And if indeed true, this will allow the display to occupy a very large portion of the handset's front. Apart from that, the smartphone should come with the next version of Sense UI. Probably Sense 7 UI.
We have exactly no idea as to the kind of specs we might get to see with the new HTC One model. And anything related to that is yet to be official. But before that, let's take a look at the concept images for the handset.
This one shows off the front face of the handset. As expected, we don't see that many changes in the overall looks of the handset. The front part looks like it did with the latest One (M8) with dual speakers at the front (both on top and bottom). Apart from that, the concept also shows off the front facing camera.
This concept reveals the back panel of the still rumored handset. Again, there's not much to choose from since the designing and form factors have been kept at a minimum. And to be perfectly honest, we are anyway not expecting any kind of changes in this regard.
This one is the culmination of both the first and the second concepts for the handset. There's nothing more to choose from here since both of them offer what we have already seen from the previous concept images. No difference, whatsoever.
While all the other concepts have just shown of the designing and form factor of the still rumored One M9 handset, this one details on the few of the specs for the handset. It says that the next one in line will arrive with a 5.2-inch qHD display, offer 13MP dual camera with 4K recording and more. But again, all that is to be taken with a pinch of salt.
This one, according to us, probably points at the kind of evolution we might see in the device's form factor. The device display looks quite bright and the previously mentioned qHD display could still be on the cards.
