@upleaks recently posted an extensive list detailing the devices' specs, which he has now updated with what appear to be official renders, giving us a very clear picture of what the next HTC device will offer overall.

Despite using this casing, the phone's back cover will be made from polycarbonate, so this will not be another metal unibody construction.

The front of the device is very reminiscent of the HTC One M9+, with top and bottom BoomSound speakers and a fingerprint sensor sandwiched in the middle of the bottom speaker.

In terms of specs, the One ME9 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen, 20 MP rear camera, 4 MP UltraPixel selfie snapper or a 13 MP sensor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a 2,900 mAh battery.

MediaTek's MT6795 SoC will be doing all the hard work, and it sports a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU. BoomSound stereo speakers will be in, as well as a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button.

The major difference here is a hairline brushed aluminum finish and chamfered edges, which certainly lend the device some style points. The aluminum front panel wraps around the side of the phone, where we find a concentric brushed aluminum power button and a volume rocker, annexing the separate volume buttons found on the One M9.

We also know that HTC One ME9 will be running on Android Lollipop 5.1 along with Sense 7 on it. The smartphone will be available in 'Classic Rose Gold", "Gold Sepia", and "Meteor Gray" when it finally launches in July.

The smartphone is apparently not going to be offered in the US and European markets, instead only getting a release in parts of Asia. The price is said to be around CNY 3,500 (approximately Rs. 18,359).
