After selling 1.2 million units of HTC One last month, the Taiwanese giant should be coming up another stellar device. HTC's next phone may not be a high-end one, but would surely bring more income to keep the company going.
Bloomberg has come with a new report featuring HTC M4 and its release date. According to unnamed sources within HTC, as stated by Bloomberg, the handset could arrive in August. The report, however, sheds light on rather known facts about so-called HTC One Mini. For instance, the phone will have a 4.3-inch display and less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor inside.
On the other side, Engadget finally got its hands on real images shared to them by tipster. Both HTC One and mini One have been compared side-by-side. Looks wise, the M4 must be having a 4.3-inch display. You will find identical speakers on the top bottom of the display. There is a front facing camera on the left side, just above the display. The capacitive Android buttons and their positioning are exactly same as found on HTC One. The device looks as good as the One due to aluminum chassis. Now there is no IR blaster found inside the One mini. It is also reported that the handset is supports Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with added BlinkFeed. It is said to be arrive with 1.4-GHz dual-core processor, UltraPixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, amongst other features.
With HTC One Mini set to arrive in August, the struggling tech giant has to face a stiff competition with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The South Korean giant has already announced the device. The full preview would be seen at June 20 event.
