Recently it was reported that the long time rumored Nexus edition HTC One might get unwrapped soon. Rumors were floating around that this device will soon be seen on the Google's Play Store. Well, now the confirmation has come in straight from Sundar Pichai, Google's VP in charge of Android and Chrome.

It has been reportedly informed that the version of the HTC One running stock Android (without the HTC Sense UI) will be made available on June 26 for $599. (Rs. 33,855 approx.) The decrease in the price may have an added advantage to the device. Meanwhile, analysts are estimating the the smartphone would make more sale than the original HTC One.

Interestingly, the very day, another Nexus device; a Samsung Galaxy S4 version has been also tipped to land on the Google Play Store. Difference is that HTC One will come equipped with the internal storage capacity of 32 GB and will not have a microSD card slot, while Galaxy S4 is informed to come with one along with 16GB internal memory.

Also, HTC One Nexus edition will cost $50 (Rs. 2,827) cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus version.

To briefly compare the the two devices, Samsung Galaxy S4 Google edition will debut with a bigger screen and better battery than that expected in Nexus HTC One.

At the same time, reports also suggested that HTC has confirmed that the Nexus device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform where as software updates will be handled and issued by Google.

This device is capable of running on T-Mobile and AT&T LTE, and has surprisingly retained Beats Audio incorporated in it. Speculations are suggesting that even Samsung Galaxy S4 will have the same software updates from Google.

Also The Verge has noted that accessing Google Now requires a long press of the home button. The same home button can also be double tapped to bring out the multitasking bar.

Rest of the features are pretty much same like the regular HTC One. But sadly few days ago a rumor pointed that HTC would only make 50,000 Nexus edition One units. Although, the report is not confirmed as of now, but the device is likely to bring up the sales.

To recap the specs, HTC One comes with a range of high end features loaded in it. HTC One comes with a 4.7-inch display screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The display screen offers visuals at 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. HTC One is the first smartphone to feature an 4 MP ultrapixel camera and 2.1 MP front camera is also available for video calls. The HTC One comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS loaded in it. HTC One features a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor.

This smartphone comes with 32 GB internal memory options. There is no external memory slot available here. Regarding connectivity the HTC One supports multiple platforms like GPRS, EDGE, WiFi and 3G for connecting to the internet. 4G LTE support is also available. Other connectivity features available in this device include Bluetooth, NFC and micro USB port etc. The phone is powere by a 2300 mAh battery in it.

This "Nexusified" HTC One may have a good impact on its sales, if going by the reports as it is said to have competent features and a better pricing, lower than the original HTC One. Also, most of the users who don't prefer the HTC Sense UI in the device, here is a good news for you, HTC One Nexus version comes without HTC Sense UI.

However, there is a possibility of this HTC One Nexus version being bitterly challenged by Samsung Galaxy S4 Google edition which is also being availed, the same day.
