While may be recalled that 32GB version of HTC One X has been already released in India a few months back, however, there has been a popular cry for a 16 GB version, which has led to the firm to finally launch the16GB version of HTC One X smartphone in the market.
One of the important attractions of this handset is the presence of microSD card slot for memory expansion of up to 32GB compared to 32GB version of HTC One X which lacked a microSD card slot. The Indian retailer Infibeam has already announced the availability of the device now for a price of Rs 31,299.
Similar to the 32GB HTC One X version, 16GB also ships with Android ICS operating system. HTC however has not hinted about any future update to Jelly Bean OS version till now. Further, ULC GeForce GPU, 1GB RAM and 1.5 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor rounds up the processors and system RAM capabilities. The handset also features a 4.7 Inch Super IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels accompanied with enhanced screen protection with Corning Gorilla Glass in the handset.
Moreover, 1080p of HD video recording is possible along with other key features such as autofocus and LED Flash using 8 mega pixels rear camera. For video conferencing or video calling, the device has a 1.3 mega pixels front facing camera too. Faster and uninterrupted wireless connection is assured with the device consisting connectivity features such as Wi-Fi and 3G. Other connectivity features for smoother data transfer include Bluetooth and USB. The powerful 1,800 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery in 16GB version of HTC One X ensures a total of 8 hours talk time and 300 hours of standby time.
