HTC One X, which is the flagship model of the company, is already special and unique because of its quad core processor and the latest Google android operating system. HTC has announced a special edition for the phone or the Deluxe Limited edition as the company officials call it. So what makes it special? The phones retail package would include a pair of Beat Solo headphones.
This is very welcome news for all the audiophiles out there since Beats can be considered as the epitome when we consider audio devices. So the good quality sound driver in the phone combined with this Hi-Fi headphone system will be enough to satisfy all the demands of a hardcore audiophile.
The package will be available for pre order from HTC’s official site in Taiwan from March 20. There is no official word on whether HTC One X Deluxe Limited edition would be made available on other parts of the world. HTC has already incorporated Beats audio technology in the HTC One X, One V and One S phones. But this is the first time they are offering an additional Beats audio accessory along with the phone. There is also no word on whether this offer would extend to other members in the HTC one family.
HTC One X itself is not yet released worldwide. The probable release date of the device is around April 2012. The phone features some of the very best in smart phone technology. It runs on Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor which is clocked at around 1.5 GHz. The graphic processing unit will be ULP GeForce.
It will also sport HTC Sense 4.0 user interface and will have Android OS version 4.0 ice cream sandwich. The 4.7 inch screen in the phone will have a resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels. That amounts to a pixel density of 312 pixels per inch which is very amazing. The phone also incorporates dual cameras with the main camera having a resolution of 8 mega pixels.
HTC One X and Beats Solo headphone package will be launched in Taiwan at first. There the package will be available for about Rs. 42,000/-. This is an impressive offer if we consider the individual price tags of these devices. The price of HTC One X alone is about Rs. 39,000/- whereas Beats Solo ear phones is priced about Rs. 9000/-. So the customer could save up about Rs. 6,000/- in this combined deal.
