HTC Quietly Unveils One E9+ With 5.5-inch QHD Display
After months of rumors and purported leaks, HTC has finally announced, the highly anticipated -- HTC One E9+. Based on HTC's latest-generation flagship device design language, the new One E9 + is a new superior device packed in a plastic chassis.
Specswise, the HTC One E9+ is very close to the One M9 sporting a 20-megapixel rear back camera, and HTC's Ultrapixel front shooter along with BoomSound front-facing speakers complemented by Dolby sound.

The biggest highlight here is the 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display - first seen on a HTC-made device. Under the hood, you'll also get to see the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek CPU, instead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset. As usual, the phone is supported by Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's native Sense 7 UI on top.

In addition, the phone offers a healthy 3GB of RAM, a microSD slot, a 2,800 mAh battery, and dual-SIM slots. Notably, the handset's specifications page incorrectly lists the phone as having a full HD display, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2 GB of RAM in the Taiwanese tech giant China page. However the folks over at Engadget noted, it's possible that these specifications were for the upcoming One E9.
Rumor also has it that other than the HTC One E9+, the company is also expected to unveil several new devices on April 8 in Beijing. As far as media reports are concerned, the struggling handset maker is likely to announce the much-hyped HTC One M9+, alongside the One E9 on the same day.
