HTC Rolls Out Eye Experience Update With Android 4.4.4 for One M8 in India


Just a month ago, HTC started rolling out Eye Experience update with Android 4.4.4 for One M8 smartphone in Europe. Apparently, now HTC has finally started sending the same update to the users in India.

According to AndroidOS, the special camera-centric update that weighs 288.45MB is available now via over-the-air and will automatically arrive on your smartphone. However, if you don't receive it within a day or two, you can head on to the Settings > About Phone > Software update, to manually check for the update.

HTC Rolls Out Eye Experience Update With Android 4.4.4 for One M8

If you are not familiar with the Eye Experience, it is a feature which is related to imaging aspect of the phone. The features include auto and Voice selfie, enhanced video calls, live make-up, face fusion and more. You can read in detail about the Eye Experience here.

Apart from the Eye update, the Android 4.4.4 update is not a sort of major OTA but brings with it few security fixes, which were already included by HTC in the Android 4.4.3 update for the phone.

HTC has also promised to release the Android Lollipop v5.0 update for the same handset aling with few others. However, it is not sure when the Taiwanese smartphone maker will announce the release of the update.
