HTC Sensation gets Sense and ICS updates


HTC mobile is looking forward to make another upgrade for one of the most popular handset. Yes, it is the HTC Sensation series which is rumoured to get the upgraded ICS RUU operating system very soon.

The information available at this point of time states that the company has rolled out two ROMs and XDA for the series of handsets present in the market. The rumour also states that the ICS RUU will be enriched with HTC Sense 3.6. Further information regarding that update is not released by the company but it is expected that the update will be rolled out very soon.

However, the HTC Sensation XE is a perfect Smartphone to own, as it comes with lots of specifications and features for the user to be happy with. The 151 gram weighing handset has a dimension of 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm. It has a wider screen of 4.3 inches which is enhanced with S-LCD technology and 16 million colours. The handset has enough internal memory and also has slots for additional memory up to 32 GB.

8 mega pixel camera in the rear side for photography as well as for video recording is available. The camera is also enriched with facilities such as autofocus, dual-LED flash and much more to enrich photography. There is also a VGA camera in the front for chatting and conferencing. Most of the users of HTC Sensation are very much excited about the battery backup which it provides.

The standard Li-Ion 1730 mAh battery in the handset can deliver battery standby of 310 hour in 2G and 540 hours in 3G network. The talk time provided is up to 9 hour 16 minutes in 2G and up to 7 hour 20 minutes in 3G. There are also immense inbuilt applications to enrich social networking.


After the update, the handset is expected to deliver faster performance. It will deliver improved touch facilities for the users. The company authorities have not disclosed much information about the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. The price tag of HTC Sensation is very high and will come around Rs. 35,000 in India. But, there is no harm in paying such a huge amount for the gadget as it offers many features and facilities for you to be happy with. It is expected that the ICS upgrade will give a new dimension for the handset.
