HTC Teases the ‘New HTC One’ Ahead of MWC 2015
At last, HTC has confirmed that it will unveil its next-generation smartphone in Barcelona. Last month, the company announced that it would be making a big announcement at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on March 1.
Although it didn't say what it would be showing off in Barcelona, it seemed that the successor to the HTC One (M8) would be showcased for the first time.

In the teased image shown above, the manufacturer clearly mentions that the next-generation flagship smartphone will be unveiled on March 1.
Let them stare," says the photo posted on HTC UK's Twitter feed. "The new HTC One revealed 01.03.15."
As the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona gets closer, more information on HTC's new flagship smartphone continues to surface.
According to reports, the HTC One (M9) will come with a 5-inch FHD screen, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 20MP rear facing camera, 4MP UltraPixel camera, 4G LTE and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
And following the lukewarm reception to the HTC One (M8), the company needs to put an extra effort to differentiate its devices from rival brands. Whether HTC's next flagship device will have enhanced features is yet to be seen.
This year's three day mega MWC event starts on 2 March, so it wouldn't be surprising to see an announcement around that time.
