HTC Titan 3 Coming Soon: Windows Phone 8 Powered Flagship Handset Listed in December 2012 Xbox Live Rewards Survey
In a recent announcement, HTC surprised Windows Phone 8 fans in India, when it confirmed the official availability of two most-awaited Windows smartphones, the HTC Windows 8X and the HTC 8S, while Nokia Lumia 920 availability in India is still awaited.
Following on the same lines, a recent report has buzzed the tech media world, which states that the Taiwanese smartphone vendor is working on the successor of HTC Titan 2 – Titan 3 and the smartphone is all set to release powered by Microsoft’s latest OS Windows Phone 8 very soon.
The report about HTC Titan 3 surfaced online when reportedly Titan 3 moniker began appearing on an Xbox Live Rewards survey in December giving renewed hopes that HTC may have yet another phone in its Windows Phone 8 arsenal that is yet to launch.
Earlier in June, there were reports suggesting that HTC is prepping on Windows Phone 8 devices – Zenith, Rio and Accord. While, HTC Rio debuted as the HTC 8S and HTC 8X is actually the HTC Accord, hence, tech analysts are estimating the HTC Zenith is actually the flagship successor HTC Titan 3.
HTC Zenith was rumored to be the flagship smartphone running on Windows Phone 8 sporting a 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 display of high resolution, 8 MP rear camera and a quad core processor.
Well, it can be said that HTC has been a big supporter of Windows Phone since the beginning, however, it has always been Nokia, which come in and taken the number one spot for the OS in the last quarter, credits to strong sales of Nokia Lumia 800 globally as compared the HTC’s Windows Phone.
Although, the ways HTC seems to be picking up in terms of global availability and pricing quotient, the day is not far when HTC will dominate the Windows Phone 8 smartphone market. Especially, if the ongoing rumors of HTC Titan 3 turn out to be true, then HTC will stack up a big rivalry in the Windows war battleground.
