Today, the company launched its latest flagship device - the Desire Eye along with the accessory - RE camera, which will make you feel nothing less than a 'wow.' A few other announcements of upcoming updates, like an icing on the cake, further made other HTC device owners' hope go high.

HTC Desire Eye
One of the major highlight of the 'Double Exposure' event in New York was the Desire Eye smartphone which comes with high-end specs, which you can check here.

RE Camera Features
HTC RE Camera is compatible with Android and iPhone as well. It will be available in four colors and is built for extreme conditions, thus making it waterproof (IP57) as well. It uses a large 16-megapixel CMOS sensor with an Ultra wide angle: 146° lens (f/2.8). Users can shoot videos in 1080p at up to 30fps video or 720p at up to 120fps slow-motion video.There are time lapse options as well.
You might wonder why HTC named the device 'Eye.' Here is the answer, the smartphone is officially the first one to come up with the company's latest Eye experience which offers camera features you can't imagine.
The awesome Eye feature allows users to do variety of things with the frontal camera. It has features like Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth and Crop Me In. For e.g. the Face Tracking option tracks up to four people in the same room, face cropped and positioned on the screen for maximum clarity.

HTC Zoe 1.0
Zoe 1.0 has short, medium and long Zoes that can be made with just a couple of still images, or an entire series of video clips with content engine 4.
HTC Eye On M8
HTC has also promised to bring the new Eye experience soon in HTC One M8. Most of the Desire Series smartphones will also receive the Eye update.
