HTC Wind, a new dual SIM phone
HTC Wind has recently made its appearance in China and has immediately grabbed the media attention worldwide because of its interesting and unique range of features. This mobile is also termed as HTC T328W.
One very notable feature in this mobile is the fact that this is a dual SIM model. HTC is not very much known to roll out dual SIM models in the past. But if they have to make their presence felt in a market like China where dual SIM and even quad SIM phones are very common this change is inevitable.
Features and specifications of HTC Wind:
- 4 inch screen with Super LCD technology
- 800 x 480 pixels resolution
- Single core processor clocked at 1 GHz
- 4 GB of internal memory
- Expandable memory card slot that supports micro SD memory cards
- 512 MB RAM
- Single main camera having a resolution of 5 mega pixels
- Google Android version 4.0 Ice cream sandwich operating system
- Google Sense 4.0 user interface
- Standard battery having 1650mAh capacity
The phone has a very simple and minimalist design. It has a curvy shape with tapered edges and rounded off corners. No physical buttons are present in the front but there are three capacitive touch sensitive buttons. The rear side houses the camera along with the LED flash and the speakers. The phone is sufficiently compact and will easily fit in your pocket.
The screen has a size of 4 inches and is of Super LCD WVGA type. The phone is powered by a single core processor that is clocked at 1 GHz. 512 MB of RAM is also provided to ensure smooth running of programs and applications. The internal memory capacity of the device is 4 GB. For additional storage purpose an external memory card slot that supports microSD memory cards are present. The main shooter in the phone has a resolution of 5 mega pixels and an integrated flash is also provided to aid in photography. 1650 mAh battery powers up the device.
HTC Wind comes with a price tag of about Rs. 16,000/-. This is a very steal price tag considering the fact that the phone runs on android Ice cream sandwich operating system and has good specs. Not many phones in this price range have ICS compatibility right out of the box so this HTC model definitely has an upper hand among its rivals.
