HTC Zara has been coming up in a form of a leak quite often these days and recently one of the most reliable leakster and twitter user @evleaks has startled the HTC Zara followers online by coming up with the name Desire 601 which would replace Zara. The user tweeted a post saying, "HTC Zara will ship as the Desire 601". Last time the very same @evleaks leaked the handset in a form of an Image, Specs and also revealed the release date. Then the post read, "HTC Zara: MSM8930 (2 x 1.2GHz), 4.5" qHD, 1GB/8GB (microSD), 8MP, 2100mAh, JB 4.3, Sense 5.5, Q4."
Thus according to the leak, the HTC Zara now consequently called Desire 601 will probably feature 4.5-inch qHD display having resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 1.2GHz MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 (dual-core processor) coupled with 1GB RAM.

HTC Zara will ship as the Desire 601
— @evleaks (@evleaks) August 30, 2013

The device would run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 UI on top of it. The leaks also suggests the a 2,100mAh Li Ion battery powering the handset. However, rumors also hint at the presence of Adreno 305 GPU and there would definitely be a Beats Audio installed in the device. Moreover, since the device is now said to come with Desire name, more expectations are inclined towards a dual SIM handset as well.
Sadly, there is no word about the official announcement of the HTC Desire 601 smartphone. However, an educated guess would allow one to expect the upcoming HTC device and its rumored mini variant in September alongside the HTC One Max which is another highly awaited smartphone from HTC.
