Ascend G510, Y300 Debut in India: Which Huawei Handset is Worth A Purchase? [Specs Comparison]

Nowadays, online retailers have become the launch pad for a plethora of manufacturers. Earlier, this trend was seen by the native handset vendors as they would initially let their offerings for pre-order prior online and then release them into the retail market.

It seems, this strategy followed by the India based vendors has also been adopted by the global manufacturers in the country as the Chinese handset vendor, Huawei has started following the same.

Since quite sometime, Huawei has been letting out smartphones and tablets for pre-order before it could release them officially in the nation. Likewise, online retailer Flipkart has listed a couple of Huawei smartphones - Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 for pre-order at Rs 10,990 and Rs 7,980 respectively. According to the listings, the handsets will be released in the first week of April.

Analyzing the list of Huawei devices available in India, it is evident that the company is trying to foray deep into the market capturing the hearts of the budget conscious consumers who are also interested in buying tech products from global brands. While all the other global manufacturers are focused in launching high-end smartphones besides a few budget oriented offerings, Huawei seems to bring a variety of reasonably priced devices to the country.
