Huawei Ascend P7 With 8MP Front-Facing Camera Launched in India At Rs 24,799

With most big name smartphone releases now behind us, Huawei appears to have finally got some time to make its Ascend P7 flagship smartphone official in India.

Although the Android-powered handset had been selling on ecommerce sites for quite some time, the Shenzhen-based telecom giant today unveiled the retail price of the Ascend P7. The handset can be bought in at a price of Rs. 24,799.

The Ascend P7 was originally launched at an event held in Paris. The device is a legitimate successor to the Ascend P6.

Huawei Ascend P7 - Highlighted Specifications

The Huawei Ascend P7 comes with a 5-inch full HD display and is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor, which is Huawei's home-brewed SoC. The RAM stands at 2GB of RAM, while the phone runs on Android 4.4 with Emotion UI 2.3 layered on top of the OS.

The handset houses a healthy 16GB of on-board storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. On the imaging front, the Ascend P7 packs a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter. Furthermore, the makers have added a 2,500mAh battery fitted inside. The Ascend P7 is 4G LTE ready, making it superior compared to rival devices.

The device will undoubtedly be pitted with some of the best looking smartphones available onto market, including the Gionee Elife S5.1, Samsung Galaxy S5, and probably the Sony Xperia Z2.
