Sony's flagship device - Xperia Z boosts of water and dust proof capabilities. If Sony can do, why can't Huawei. Now on the lines of Sony, another company would like to experiment by making water and dustproof smartphone.
The Chinese handset manufacturer, is slowly placing its cards by announcing hit device one after the other. And the latest addition is in the form of Huawei Ascend P2. The device could be monster. The device is said to come with an Octa core processor and most importantly dust and water-resistant capabilities.
The folks at GizChina recently reported that the Chinese giant is prepping an Octa Core smartphone with a 4.7 -inch 1080P HD display, 1GB/2GB of build in RAM and 13-mega pixel rear 1080p HD shooter. The same source also shared the cost of handset.
The Huawei Ascend P2 will be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) slated to later this month at Barcelona, Spain. It will be price at around $481. HTC, too, set to announce HTC One with a 4.7-inch 1080p HD display at 468ppi. The other report from China did not highlight the alleged specifications of the Huawei Ascend P2. But, it points out at the dust and water- resistant capabilities of the handset. Is Huawei wants to claim the No.1 smartphone maker in 2013? Kind of, due to the progress the company is making every inch by announcing unique handsets. Chinese site cnBeta.com , points out at the water resistant capabilities of the device. As per report, the Huawei Ascend P2 will be IP54 certified device.
This year, Huawei made a daring entry into the bold world of high-end device. The company currently holds 3rd position, as the top smartphone maker in the world. Earlier this year, the company announced two stellar devices - Huawei Ascend Mate, a giant smartphone with large 6.1 -inch 720p HD display. It has the largest battery fitted in a smartphone. Any guess? The company went for a 4,050mAh battery.
The second handset that was revealed by the company was the Huawei Ascend D2. What's so special about the device? Well. The device was not less than a monster. It had a battery of 3,000mAh, 1.5GHz Quad-core processor, a 5-inch 1080p HD screen and 13-mega pixel rear camera.
Huawei is surely making every effort to make killer devices. The company is now eyeing American and Western European markets.
