Huawei Mate 8 to Flaunt QHD Screen, Kirin 930 Chip Set And Fingerprint Scanner

According to a recent Huawei roadmap which was shown along time back, the Huawei Mate 8 is expected to be unveiled next month.

The latest word on the successor to the popular Huawei Mate 7 is that the new model will feature a similarly high screen-to-body ratio. The Mate 7 weighed in with a 78% ratio last year.

The 6-inch screen on the Mate 8 will get bumped to a 1440 x 2560 resolution, and Huawei will employ the home grown 64-bit Kirin 930 SoC with an octa-core CPU.

The 20.7MP rear snapper will use the Sony IMX220 sensor and there will be a fingerprint scanner on the device. The phone will support 4G LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps).
