Huawei P6-UO6: World's Slimmest Handset is Set to Overtake Alcatel On Touch Idol Ultra

The Nokia Lumia 920 was a great handset, but its weight still haunts many. The Finnish giant needs to learn from its past mistakes. While other tech vendors have successfully managed to bring slim- trim handsets in the market. The latest handset from Alcatel is the Idol Ultra currently known as "the slimmest smartphone in the world". The handset has been announced this month at Rs. 21,000, and was recently featured in Hollywood blockbuster Iron Man 3.

Now soon another such device is expected to enthrall audience with its unique form factor. The Huawei P6-U06, which is not yet out in the market, is said to be world's thinnest smartphone. The upcoming handset from Huawei has got approval from Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center MIIT in China, according to GSMInsider. It is expected to be out in the Chinese market soon.

With just 6.18mm thickness, it just beats the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra without doing much effort. In term of specifications, it packs a 4.7-inch display with resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels, 1.5-GHz Quad -Core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-mega pixel rear camera, 2-mega pixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, expandable memory, A-GPS, GSM/WCDMA network, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and soon arrive in three candy colours: Black, White and Pink.
