Huawei seems to be having major plans to make 2012 its best year. It was evident at the CES 2012, that Huawei handsets are very much anticipated, because Huawei’s booth was pretty crowded. People seemed to like what Huawei offered in the Huawei Ascend P1 S. Huawei has been working hard to meet the consumers’ expectations and they have been pretty successful in that.
But that’s just not what Huawei seems to be offering. More feature rich smartphones will be coming from Huawei this year reportedly, and these handsets are supposedly the best Huawei has developed so far. The most anticipated line up of handsets that Huawei will be launching soon is the Diamond series handsets. Reportedly Huawei has even started inviting dignitaries and media for a press conference, scheduled for this month.
As per the reports, Huawei’s press conference would be just before the Mobile World Congress (MWC). So it is pretty clear that Huawei is planning to introduce their new Diamond series handsets in the MWC. It is also evident that Huawei is fighting to reach the levels attained by handset manufacturing giants like Samsung, Nokia etc. But this is no simple task. So it is safe to assume that Huawei has some tricks up its sleeves, to make it big just like that.
1.5 GHz dual core processor
4.3 inch Super AMOLED
BSI 8 MP primary camera
1.3 Megapixel secondary front camera
Quad core processors, high resolution displays, and a few advanced technologies should do the trick. But Huawei knows best. There aren’t many facts known about the Huawei Diamond series handsets but it is excepted that they would have high end specifications and would be running in Google’s Android operating system.
Huawei would probably move up the range and is likely to become a household name this year. Considering the Ascend P1’s specifications, the diamond series Huawei handsets would most likely be faster, slimmer and smarter.
Huawei Ascend P1 sported a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with Gorilla glass, BSI 8 MP primary camera and 1.3 Megapixel secondary front camera and a few other impressive hardware. If the Diamond series are what they boast it is, then this new Huawei Diamond series would be tough rivals for the likes of Samsung Galaxy series and Nokia Lumia series. This means Huawei would rise up to a level that HTC, Samsung and few other firms share.
We can expect surprising features soon at the Press conference and later in the MWC but that would take a month and we will have to wait till Feb 26th.
