Huawei Tipped To Unleash Mate 7 Compact With 5.5 Inch Display at MWC 2015
The Huawei D8 will be the star of Huawei's event, but the Chinese firm is likely to announce more smartphones at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), starts March 2.
Huawei already announced that it would hold a press event March 1 at MWC 2015, though the company didn't exactly say what it's going to unveil. As usual, some details and clues have already leaked about which new device we'll see at Huawei's MWC 2015 press event.

Now, according to a report from an Italian blog site HDBlog, the tech giant from China could unleash a smaller version of its famed Ascend Mate 7 at MWC 2015.
Dubbed as the "Huawei Mate7 Compact", the purported handset might feature a 5.5-inch display. As GSMArena notes, the Mate7 Compact will be positioned between the Ascend Mate 7 and the forthcoming Huawei P8 flagship smartphone. However, again, there are no concrete details available about the phone's specifications and features.
For starters, the handset would sport a 5.5-inch FHD display and a fingerprint scanner on the back side. Furthermore, the device would feature an octa-core processor (HiSilicon Kirin).
It's pretty much certain that Huawei will unveil the Mate 7 Compact at the MWC tech conference. At the same time, it's being reported that Huawei could unveil more handsets during the same tech show.
If rumours have anything to go by, then Huawei is surely upbeat about its much-awaited flagship smartphone, the P8. The device in question, the P8, has been revealed in a new image leak.
Apparently, the P8 smartphone from Huawei could replace the firm's current generation flagship device, the Ascend P7. Of course, specs and other key details have been kept guarded so far. Nevertheless, we're expecting to see the P8 at the annual MWC tech show.
