iberry is one of those names that you won't see much around in the native smartphone market. But the company is actually credited for making great smartphones at a decent price tag. Now the company has more to offer in that department.
According to reports, iberry has launched its brand new Auxus Note 5.5 smartphone. Apparently, the handset is also the company's first smartphone sporting a fingerprint scanner. Apart from that, the company has also unveiled the new Auxus AX04i handset alongside.
While all the other specs for the devices can wait, a thing or two needs to be mentioned about the Note 5.5's fingerprint scanner. There's a fingerprint sensor placed just below the camera that lets you unlock the phone easily.
It also has option to configure as many as three different fingerprints, alongside a Finger App Lock feature to hide apps. This can create a security profile with selected apps to be hidden or shown upon unlocking.
iberry Auxus Note 5.5: Highlighted Specifications
As the name suggests, the iberry Auxus Note 5.5 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS OGS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is also powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 700 MHz Mali 450-MP4 GPU.
The handset, as expected, has dual SIM support with a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. There's also an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone also offers 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, and is expandable up to 64GB. The device runs on Android KitKat.
Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC. The device also offers a massive 3200mAh battery unit.
iberry Auxus AX04i: Highlighted Specifications
The other iberry Auxus AX04i, a new variant of the Auxus AX04 phablet with 3G support, offers a greater 7-inch display. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with Mali 400 GPU.
Running on the latest Android KitKat OS, the handset has a primary 2MP rear camera with a front facing 0.3MP (VGA) camera. The phone also offers a lesser 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal memory, and is expandable up to 64GB.
Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB OTG. The device also offers a massive 3000mAh battery unit.
