Earlier this month there was news on Idea Cellular Ltd introducing smartphone into the Indian market tot boost their 3G business.

Well, the news has come true and the company has rolled out its first set of Smartphones which run on Android operating system. The one among them is Idea ID-280.

The company claims that the smartphone is expected to do well in the market as well as impress most of the current and new idea users. As the purpose of the phone is to boost 3G business, we can expect impressive 3G plans along with the phone.

Idea ID-280 will be running on the Android 2.2 Operating System which is also powered by an elegant processor. The processor is of 528 MHz. moreover the phone will also have 256 RAM to ensure that maximum support is provided to the operating system.

The screen size of the product is 2.8 inch Capacitive Touch enabled. So, you will have almost every touch facility requirements available with Idea ID280. The screen resolution is 240 x 320 pixels.

Another highlight of the product is that it will be featuring an efficient and high clarity Camera which is of 3.2 Mega pixels and thus have the capacity to produce high clarity images. It’s not just about the images; the camera can also produce high clarity videos.

Idea ID280 also comes with much impressive internal memory for saving contact as well as sms. Moreover the internal memory is enriched with external storage support. Surprisingly Idea ID280 can support up to 32 GB. Well, 32 GB is a very big deal; this is a feature provided by some of the only high end products in the market today.

Other facilities are the multimedia facility and along with 3.5 mm audio jack to maximize the entertainment facilities of yours. Overall the product launched by Idea is pretty impressive and attractive too, as it has been designed well. Idea ID280 will be made available to the Indian users at a price of just Rs. 5,800 according to the company authorities. Idea Cellular is also planning to roll out another smartphone very soon which will be featuring some specialties, particularly for the Indian users.
