While the IFA 2013 saw hundreds of companies launching tons of new devices, do we have the same in store for us this year? We are guessing there's more than just introduction to new devices and handsets.

Keeping the discussion limited to the smartphone market for the time being, the new age handsets have seen a lot of technological tractions over the months, with more new handsets waiting to be released before the end of the current year.

Big names such as Samsung, Sony, HTC and Nokia are all gearing up to see what others have in store that will compete against their own tech in the coming days. And with more and more companies getting into the mix, we are expecting nothing more than good times ahead.

But then again, what really are we expecting from the handset business with the IFA 2014 set to kick off? Here's a closer look at what to expect from all the big names in the industry.

    Rumored Specs
The leaked teaser poster was published on the company's weibo account, which itself indicates that device is going to launch in China. However there's little info available about the forthcoming handset. If the rumor mill is to be believed, HTC will showcase its new smartphone next month in Berlin.

Unlike the HTC One (E8), the Desire 820 is said to be a mid-range device, based on Google's Android 4.4. Leaked specs suggest that it'll pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC packing a 64-bit octa-core CPU (four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores) and Adreno 405 GPU. The new model is also expected to pack a Full HD screen, if new reports have anything to go by. As of now, the key details surrounding the phone are missing.
