Looks like Intel will be making a big fuss in the MWC 2013, after all. The manufacturing corporation announced they will be showcasing their all new dual-core Atom powered Android smartphones in the Mobile World Congress, which will be held later this month.
Intel unveiled the Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ dual-core platform along with the Atom Z2420 at the CES 2013. Intel noted, the smartphone will sport, the mentioned above, processors.
Lenovo K900, the first smartphone powered by the Atom Z2580Clover Trail+ dual-core platform was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 which happened month.
Specifications of the phone as fallows
Display: K900 is claimed to sport a big 5.5 inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Processor: The handset is based on Intel Clover Trail+ processor, which is likely to include a 2GHz dual core Atom Z2580 processor.
Operating System: When it comes to operating system: K900 is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and hence, it comes with software features including Project Butter, expandable and contractible notifications, resizable widgets, Google Now and more.
Camera: The handset has a 13MP rear camera with dual flash and a 2MP front camera for video chatting.
Storage: Lenovo K900 comes with 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.
Connectivity: The handset will come with connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and micro USB.
Battery: As of now, there is no information on the battery used in K900.
Meanwhile Indian smartphone maker Lava Mobiles Xolo X500 which also sports a 1.2GHz Intel Clover Trail+ processor was launched. Lets take a look at the Lava Xolo X500 specifications

Processor: The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Clover Trail+ processor with Hyper Threading technology.

Camera: The handset has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calling.
Storage: Xolo X500 has 4GB onboard storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting upto 32GB additional storage.

Both the Clover Trail+ based Android handsets are impressive devises. It is safe to say the processor sure does make a huge difference. Guess we will have to count the days till MWC 2013, in order to get a glimpse of the new android mystery-phones, that will run on the atom processors.
