It is obvious that soon quad core processors will be in a state like the single core processors are in right now. The smartphones technology has been getting better and better with every passing of the day. Now it is not a surprise to know that octa core solution is powering the smartphones. Now the same processor featuring Indian smartphone from Intex called the Aqua Octa has been made available in the market.

Intex Aqua Octa Powered By 1.7 GHz Octa-Core CPU Available At Rs 19999

The handset which is also known as Intex Aqua i17 was originally unveiled back in November last year. However, now the device is already selling at the price of Rs. 19,999 from e-commerce site Snapdeal. This handset will probably be the cheapest octa core smartphone in the entire market. The smartphone is not officially launched as of now.

Going by the specs, the Intex Aqua Octa comes packed with a 6-inch IPS display offering an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the display is based on One-Glass-Solution (OGS) technology.

Powering the device is a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM and it runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

Moving on to camera, it packs a13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a competitive 5-megapixel front-facing camera similar to the Aqua i7.

Connectivity options remain regular with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and aGPS. Obviously the handset supports Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby. The new Intex smartphone also houses a maximum of 16GB onboard memory which is also expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.

The device which measures 161.06×80.86x7mm and weighs 180 grams draws its energy from a 2300 mAh removable battery.

The giant smartphone could also make a great audio device as it also features a dual Yamaha 1420 speakers with 1.2W output.

Additionally Snapdeal is also offering a free Intex Power Bank and Intex Craggy Headphones worth Rs 2,999 free with the handset (terms levied).

The handset will come in direct competition with the recently launched Xolo Q3000 smartphone.
