Intex Cloud FX Vs Top Best Affordable Dual SIM Android Smartphones Rivals

After days of curiosity, Intex on Monday has officially launched India's cheapest smartphone powered by Firefox OS. The phone, Cloud FX, is priced at Rs. 1,999. It is now available online in an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal. The domestic vendor had promised to bring an affordable smartphone in August under Rs. 2000.

With the Intex Cloud FX, the company is aimed to target the ultra low-cost segment, currently being dominated by Nokia's Asha range. Interestingly, Spice has also announced a similar handset running on Mozilla's Firefox mobile OS. The Spice-made Fire One Mi-FX 1 is priced at Rs. 2,299.

Spec-wise, the Intex Cloud FX features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 128MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM. The phone also features a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera, and there's no built-in front facing shooter. Other connectivity options are standard, notably, 2G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and more. The makers have also added a 1250mAh batter fitted inside.

The Cloud FX will certainly face tough competition from Nokia's Asha range as well as from low-end Android phones.
