At the Mobile World Congress 2012, Lava unveiled the Xolo 900 smartphones based on the Intel Medfield chip and later released it in April. This was the first smartphone with Intel Inside launched in India. Being a performance rich handset powered by the Intel chipset, the Xolo 900 is a still competitor to the iPhone 5.

On the specifications front, the Xolo 900 has a 4 inch HD LCD capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, but it might soon be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS as the Intel Atom smartphones are expected to get the update soon.

Moreover, the Xolo 900 is equipped with 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor, 8 MP primary camera, 1.3MP secondary camera, NFC, 3G, Bluetooth connectivity features, 16 GB internal storage, 1GB RAM and 1,460 mAh.

Lava Xolo 900 is available for a price of Rs 22,000.
