iPhone 5 will boast a 4-inch screen Featuring Gorilla Glass 2
One of the latest rumored report from UBreakiFix, an Apple repair service shop leaked the full front panel of the sixth generation iPhone to its distributors.
One of the pictures, showed that the next iPhone will have a 4 inch display retaining the same pixel density as the iPhone 4S. The other picture is a zoomed one, that shows the serial numbers and the LCD connector.
Also it suggested that the the vertical pixel count of the iPhone 5 is increased to 1,136, while the horizontal count is the same 640. Which hinted that the additional real estate will be have more apps on the homescreen, as compared with the iPhone 4S.
Earlier reports from Apple-centric blog iLounge also reported that a "reliable source" had confirmed details on a thinner, taller iPhone, featuring scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2 protection on the front, a metal panel on the back.
