While Apple iPhone 6 launch event is due to take place tonight, Amosu - a luxury jeweler has already started taking pre-orders for the 24K Gold plated version of the phone. On the other hand, now the full specs sheet of the phone has also been leaked online ahead of the official launch.
According to Cultofmac's source in China, the iPhone 6 will feature a massive upgrade compared to its predecessors. The source who is close to the matter also reportedly told that the next generation iPhone will come with a "shatterproof" screen.
Obviously, the iPhone 6 will be available in two models (4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens) and will be offered in three color variants - Gold, Silver/White and Space Gray. As rumored, both models will feature sapphire screens, however, the biggest surprise is the water-resistant and shatterproof build. Former rumors suggested that iPhone 6 would come with a scratch-resistant display.

If the leak is to be considered, both models of iPhone 6 would come with 4G LTE support and a Nano-SIM support. The device will be launched in two variants, with 4.70 inches and 5.5 inches LED-backlit IPS LCD display. Both will be offered with a resolution of 960 x 1704 pixels and a pixel density of 416 ppi. As far as the build is considered, it uses shatter proof sapphire crystal glass, oleophobic coating for water resistant as well.
In terms of processor power, the iPhone 6 will be employing Apple A8 Dual-core processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 2 GB RAM and would run on iOS 8.
Although, the device wouldn't feature a microSD card, Apple will be offering a 16/32/64/128 GB variant of the phone depending in the market.
Connectivity options include: GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, NFC and USB v2.0.
In the imaging front, according to the leak, iPhone 6 will make use of 8MP rear camera (3264 x 2448 pixels) with autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Features Simultaneous video and image recording, touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR panorama, HDR photo and 1080p@60fps video recording. At the front, there would be a VGA shooter.
The device as said earlier would feature a 500 dpi pixel density fingerprint sensor (Touch ID on all models) and would come fulled by a non-removable Li-Po 1810 mAh battery (6.91 Wh).
The leak further says that the iPhone 6 will be released in the market on September 19th.
Although, the specs of the iPhone 6 does match with the leaked details that came up previously via other leaks, there is no guarantee that it is legitimate specs. Thus, until the device gets launched tonight, you can hold on to the specs for now.
